Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das made a courtesy call on private industries and investment adviser to Prime Minister Salman F Rahman at his Gulsan office yesterday. During the meeting, the high commissioner focused on some bilateral issues related to trade and commerce with the PM’s adviser and talked about the ways of increasing the Indian investment in Bangladesh.
Talking to The Independent Riva Ganguly Das said that for the first time after her appointment in Dhaka as high commissioner she came to meet the PM’s adviser. “We have several areas to improve the bilateral trade and commerce between Bangladesh and India that we share with each other,” she said. PM’s adviser and the Indian high commissioner also exchanged souvenirs. Indian Deputy High Commissioner Bishwadip Dey was also present during the meeting.
